I think I am getting too old for this...! Chelsea 4 Liverpool 4 Unbelievable....!

It's been a while since I have been to see Chelsea at Stamford Bridge - I'm in the wrong profession !! But a ticket came available for last nights match against Juventus and I treated myself! It was a relief to see Chelsea hang on! Watching the Chelsea subs warm up made me feel pretty old! I'm a bit hoarse this morning!!

Oh well another penalty shoot out and another broken heart - if Job were a Chelsea fan he would really have known what it was to lament. Of course - it is only a game! :o(

I've always said Avram Grant was a quality manager and would lead Chelsea to the heights of European domination. It seems only fair to thank Liverpool's John Arne Riise for his last minute own goal in the first leg. At last ... only Ronaldo and co to concern us now!!

It is Anthony's fault I support Chelsea. He didn't have to take me along to Stamford Bridge when I was 10, in the dark ages of bankruptcy and a huge East Stand. He didn't have to introduce me Tommy Langley, Clive Walker and Ray 'Butch' Wilkins. He didn't have to introduce me the atmosphere of The Shed. But he did. Anthony is my big brother and he has a Cup Final ticket and I don't!! Anthony is going to Wem-ber-ley and I am not! I don't suppose anyone has a spare ticket and wants to become my friend?

I can't help wonder why in all the years I have watched football I have watched my team - whether that be England or Chelsea - win on penalties, I think twice! Chelsea lose out of penalties

Apart from two great goals and Chelsea marching on. The highlight of the game for me was Eryn asking me to explain the offside rule. Don't you just love those key moments of parenthood!!? --- Incidently, talking about offside - how about Drogba..... offside? hmmmm ...oh well!
