Boots 2005...

This weekend for many salvationists is an important weekend as they travel to Southport and to the ROOTs CONVENTION. Travel safely and I hope those of you who pop by URBANarmy have a really good time. I look forward to hearing how it went.

Not really my thing - too big - but nevertheless I'm glad it is still meeting a need for lots of people.

As for me and our family (including unofficial God Parents - a strange designation bestowed upon good friends Paul and Heather by our daughters) we're off to our BOOTS CONVENTION we are camping in Sussex. Given the weather today our wellies are well and truly packed!

Oh Gordon...THOSE boots. I blogged my longing for a pair a while ago...please advise whether they are indeed as waterproof as they claim, assuming that Sussex lives up to expectations.

Along the world famous Oxford street in London's Westend; nestled in among the classy frontage of designer shops there is almost an unnoticeable, unimpressive wooden door. It is more or less alongside The Regent Hall's main entrance onto the busyness of Oxford Street. People pass the wooden door oblivious to the equally unimpressive wooden steps that go up three storey's to what was Regent Hall's youth club. When I was 10 I played on these bare wooden steps totally unaware of the significance behind and upon which I played.
