High Council 2006

The delegates of what is known as the High Council were welcomed tonight and now convene to decide on the next international leader of The Salvation Army. The process comprises the National Leaders of TSA throughout the world. It certainly looked multi-cultural to me which was really encouraging. Pictures, webcast and info (here).

If they decide to vote for me could you let them know we're in France for a couple of days :o)?

They can vote for anyone they like, can't they?

Personally, I fully expect to be the first general to be elected after only six months of officer service :)

As an Anglican I guess I can't vote but if i could I would be voting for you of course. If I can, let me know and I will!

When you get the role can you remember to invite me to the massive mansion that goes with the job!

Enjoy France!

Hey Gordon...

My money (metaphorically speaking) is on Israel Gaither for General... He would be fantastic! He is on fire!

Peace,

Thomas

Thomas,

Being a USA Easterner, I am partial to Comm. Gaither as well. He is an incredible man of God!

Dave

Personally I think the High Council should be like the Big Brother house. Let's lock them all up in Sunbury court, plenty of cameras and then vote them out one by one!

Thanks for the vote Rob - you'll aways be welcome at the mansion :o)
